What in the World is OCx?

An OCx is a very large telecommunications circuit connecting you directly to the phone company. It can be an OC3 at 155 MBPS, an OC12 at 622 MBPS, an OC48 at 2.5GBPS, or OC192 at 9.6GBPS. If you have a very large facility with hundreds of employees all using bandwidth at once you need OCx. Which level of service you need depends upon just how many data connections and telephone lines you need.
